I changed my password to a pattern, but now cannot remember the Pattern Can you reset my security to my last password, which I have been happily using for months?
Thanks for contacting us. Sorry, but we do not have access to your password history and cannot set it back. The only thing we can do is delete your account so you can create new password, but this will delete all data if it was in the cloud. Local backups may be able to be restored however.
You can enter the numeric equivalent of the pattern to change it if you want to change to pattern. The dots correspond to:
1 2 3
4 5 6
7 8 9
So a “Z” pattern corresponds to 1235789 for example.
If you are using a text password now, just switch the input method back to keyboard in the login screens.
