I have SplashID Safe Desktop (v18.104.22.1680) on a Windows 7 64-bit desktop and sync to it from an iPhone5s (app version 7.2.5, build 796). Whenever I perform a sync from my iPhone the data transfers occur correctly, but the desktop app crashes afterwards with dialog boxes saying "SplashID Safe has stopped working - A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available." Of course the program closed when I click the "Close program button".
Thanks for contacting us. I would check the folder permissions on the SplashID data folder.
In File Explorer, go to:
Right click and select Properties.
Then clear out the Read Only box so it is empty. Then click Apply, and confirm.
See if that clears up the issue.
