Sync problem Macbook air and iphone 5

Hi, I have installed splashid safe wifi sync version on my daughters new macbook and iphone 5
when I try to sync the macbook asks for a password ok then starts to sync, seems to do all the right things, says writing records ect. and seems to finish ok, but when sync is complete no records have updated or changed on either device.
Please help

Thanks for contacting us. It sounds like the wrong username is selected in the SplashID Desktop. Did you install the latest version of the SplashID Desktop?

I would delete it and install the version on the Mac App Store:

Launch it, set it up, then do a WiFi sync again with the iPhone.
