SplashID Safe 18.104.22.168.760 shows Desktop IP address: 127.12.34.56. This is a loopback address and is impossible to connect to from handheld device. Previous version of SplashID Safe worked. ipconfig shows 10.0.0.190 as ip address. How can I reconfigure SplashID Safe for the correct address?
Thanks for contacting us. Do you have multiple network interfaces active on your desktop computer? If so, SplashID may be latching onto the incorrect interface.
As a test, try disabling the other interfaces, so that only the good one exists for SplashID to latch onto. See if that helps.
Can you please provide more details about your network configuration? I’ve never heard of this problem before and it may require some detailed investigation to discover the route cause.
Ok, unfortunately we don’t test or support SplashID on Wine, so this issue may have something to do with SplashID running in that emulation environment.
