SplashID for Windows Phone 8.0

Andrew Anderson May 18, 2014 04:08PM PDT

For a long time, I have successfully used SplashID successfully on my desktop, iPad, and android phone - with the ability to sync between all the devices via WiFi. I have recently gotten a Windows 8.0 Phone, and downloaded the SplashID app. I was able to sync my records to the Windows phone, but within a day, they disappeared. I tried 2-3 more times, and each time, the records would disappear. I re-installed the app, but to no avail. Any thoughts on how to resolve?

I've been having the same issue. I have to reinstall the software on my phone and it will sync the first time but on subsequent attempts, the data disappears on my phone. On a couple of occasions, the database has "stuck" and all is well, but if I reset my Windows phone or change phones I start all over again. On my latest phone, the database disappears and I have not been able to get it to be available.

I have had this issue with on:
Nokia 920 WP 8.0
Nokia 1520 (x2) 8.1
Nokia 1520 (x2) 8.1 developers preview

Things I've tried:
Installing the software, logging in for an initial sync exit and reboot phone
Installing the software, logging in for an initial sync, add or change an item
Installing the software, logging in for an initial sync, add/change item and reboot

Any help will be appreciated. I haven't been able to fully migrate from my go to Windows Phone password manager software (Sky Wallet) because SplashID has beenso unreliable on Windows Phone. Hoping the next version will solve the issues.

Thanks for contacting us. Yes, the next version of SplashID will address this. We’re finishing up work on SplashID 8 for Windows first, then we will turn our attention to Windows Phone.

I have the same issue on an HTC - crap don't remember the model number, it was the only Win8 phone they made. In my case, I install the app, run it the first time, sync to cloud, everything's there.

The second time I run the app, all my records are gone from my phone. It's happened twice with two installed.

I'm not sure how you can say "We'll fix it later", the WinPhone app is flat out broken and useless right now. You're better off pulling it from the winphone store.

Justin, what is the ETA on this? The app is basically unusable.

Sorry it has taken this long. The Windows desktop app has taken a lot longer to finish than we thought, but we’re running that beta right now, so hopefully sometime in January we can work on the Windows Phone app.

We’re just finalizing the Windows desktop app, which has been released, making sure all bugs are fixed before we announce it, then we can start working on Windows Phone, quite soon.

I have the same problem on a Nokia Lumia 735 phone. The first sync went fine but after that the records mysteriously vanished, although they are fortunately still accessible from a desktop and other OS (IOS and Android).
