Harry Speizer May 16, 2014 11:00AM PDT

When traveling and mobile phone (with SplashID app) is lost or stolen, how can SplashID be accessed?

Great question! This is one of the reasons we developed SplashID Cloud Services. You can just go to any computer, login on the web app, and see your records:

You would also be able to get a new phone, install SplashID, login and see all your data right away.

What if I don't use the cloud? Local only. Where is the data? Is it in iTunes? How do I restore to a new iPhone?

Local only data is only stored on the device. If you don’t WiFi sync with the SplashID Desktop, the only other way to back it up would be to sync with iTunes or iCloud backup.
