WiFi sync on Windows 8.1

Hi, I just paid $9.99 for the no sync version of the SplashID Safe for my new Windows 8.1 laptop from the Windows Store. It does not seem to have the Wi-Fi sync feature that my Windows 7 SplashID Safe has (version 7.1.0). I want the Wi-Fi sync feature on my Windows 8.1 laptop. How do I get a version of SplashID Safe with the Wi-Fi sync feature on my Windows 8.1 laptop? I do not want the cloud sync feature. Can I download and install the Windows 7 version of SplashID Safe onto my Windows 8.1?

Thanks for contacting us. There is no WiFi sync option in the Windows 8 “Metro” app, so you probably want to install the SplashID Desktop app for Windows:

Tengo una licencia de Android y no puedo sincronizar el móvil con windows o Mac.
No se me activa la sincronización en el programa del teléfono. El teléfono móvil es un Samsung Note 3.

Aquí hay algunas razones posibles para sincronización WiFi no funciona:

1. La dirección de correo electrónico no coincide en el cliente de mano y el cliente de escritorio. Asegúrese de que es exactamente lo mismo.

2. Las contraseñas no son las mismas. Asegúrese de que son exactamente lo mismo.

3. La aplicación de escritorio no se está ejecutando, o está en un estado bloqueado. Inicie sesión en la aplicación SplashID Desktop.

4. El SplashID Desktop no se permite a través de su software de servidor de seguridad. Asegúrese de que esté permitido.

5. La computadora de escritorio y dispositivos móviles no están en la misma red WiFi. Asegúrese de que Wi-Fi está activada en ambos dispositivos y que están conectados a la misma red.

6. Hay una VPN, máquina virtual, u otra interfaz de red activa. Esto puede causar SplashID para adherirse a la interfaz de red incorrecta. Desactive cualquier otra interfaz, además de la red Wi-Fi o Ethernet, si eso es lo que la computadora de escritorio se está conectando.

I also purchased the wifi sync version of Splash ID for iPad and was dismayed by the immediate upgrade from wifi sync to subscription-based cloud sync which I distrust.

The product I purchased was summarily rendered obsolete. What a horrible way to do business. It was a while back that I made the purchase and I do not expect a refund, however I want my account and all of my entries deleted from your database with written and signed confirmation of aforementioned deletions on your company's letterhead.

There are sensitive keys in my account that I was not aware were being uploaded to the cloud.

Thanks for contacting us. Upgrading to version 8 does not put you into cloud sync mode. WiFi sync is still supported and would not have been changed automatically without your input.
