I was successful in activating my personal account and got your software working at my macbook and windows phone. This is the text I received.
Congratulations -- you have successfully activated your SplashID Safe Personal Edition account.
But........ when using your link to get to my personal account I continue to get the message that my "code" is not correct. I do not understand it. When using the link my email adress is correctly popping up. Then I am asked to give my password. After doing that your system states my code is incorrect and I am asked to give my password and to type in a code that appears on the screen (to make sure I am human?). Anyhow, after doing this again your system states the code in incorrect?
What can I do?

If you are still having trouble logging into the web app, clear your SplashID.com cache and cookies, then try again.
In your case, I would suggest deleting and reinstalling the app.

Yes, I suppose there could be a problem on 10.6.8. Have you tried any alternative browsers?
