Sync iPhone and iPad

I wan to use splash I'd with both my iPhone and iPad. Same database. Can I do that and do I have to pay twice?

Just download the iOS version on both devices and choose SplashID Cloud Services in the setup. I have installed splashid on my iPad. how do I sync this with my desktop app usin wifi? I have already set up to sync with my android phone?

Hi Michael,

WiFi sync works pretty much the same on iPad as it does on Android, except there are 2 ways to get to the sync dialog:

1. Pull down on the record list

2. Tap the settings button and then tap Sync.

I have just updated to IOS8 on my iPad mini and now cannot sync? Does anyone else have this issue

Thanks for contacting us. Some users have reported this and we believe it may be linked to an iOS 8 networking problem. Please reset the networking settings on your iPhone and then connect to your WiFi network anew and see if that fixes it.

Maybe one of your testers should try and reproduce the problem? Tonight my iPhone passwords were corrupted in the app. Trying to restore by syncing from my Mac has failed. I can't believe how unreliable SplashID Safe is. FIX THE PROBLEMS.

Hi Kevin,

We have tried, but we are unable to reproduce the issue so far. Apple released iOS 8.0.2 last night. Please try updating to that and see if it helps. Also, restart your Mac for good measure to get the network settings to properly reset if needed.

I have a current SpashID safe on my lap top, but it will no longer sync with my Iphone and iPad which are both now saying "subscription expired"

I have SplashShopper v3.1 installed in iPad and Desktop. After updating IOS to 8.02 I cannot sync. It begins to sync but syncing stops after a while and the program freeze in iPad (I have to delete and reinstall it to fix). What can I do?

HI Ricardo,

We have a new SplashShopper for iPhone coming any day now, but it may be awhile for an update to the iPad app.

Instead of deleting and reinstalling the app when it hangs, try force quitting it instead. To do that, double press your home button to bring up the app switcher, then select SplashShopper and swipe it up and off screen to close it.

I have an iPhone 6 and ipad air2 which have replaced my older devices. Since enabling Splashid Web on the devices I only get the latest newly created items - ie created in the past month! I have 1400 items which synchronised perfectly on my old devices. Why is it so difficult to get SplashID to synchronise reliably. I have no such issues with RoboForm!

I can no longer sync FROM my windows desktop version of SplashID or the cloud version (via browser) TO my iphone. I CAN sync FROM the iphone to the windows desktop version and to the cloud version, however. It used to always allow sync in either direction. I have changed no settings, and have the wifi set properly on both devices.

Changes I make to a windows desktop record show up fine in the cloud when I log in via my browser. And changes I make to an iphone record show up fine in the cloud when I log into the browser version. But any changes made on the desktop version or in the cloud version will not show up on my iphone.

So the issue is only syncing FROM another version TO the iphone.

Any thoughts?

If your SplashID Safe data is good in the Cloud, you don’t have to worry about anything as far as deleting the local database on the iOS device is concerned.

1. To be on the safe side, check that your data is good in the web app, by logging in on your desktop web browser: https://splashid.com/login.php

2. Delete the SplashID Safe iOS app and reinstall it from the App Store to reset the data.

3. Run SplashID Safe iOS app and login with the same email and password as always, and your data will return magically, and your license should work properly.

I just buy and install splashid pro in both of my devices (miniipad and iPad 2air) it doesnt sync. I already close the app reinstalll... It deoesnt work. Heeeelp! I dont like spending time figuring out how it works. The app describes that it will do it automaticly.

Hy,

I've bene using you iPhone app for a while (it's SUPERB), but recently i'm experiencing this issue: when i try to sync iPad with my MacBook air The sync itself completely erase my database on iPad. Iphone works perfect but iPad doesn't. I tried deleting and reinstalling The app, but nothing seems to work.

Any advice?

Thanks for contacting us. Make sure you are using version 8 on the iPad as well (not version 6 or earlier).

Also, you should delete and reinstall and make sure the email address matches the SplashID Desktop user exactly.
