Deregister a device

Gary Pokras Apr 29, 2014 10:39AM PDT

I have used Splash ID for years and love it, however, I am not comfortable having my data stored anywhere in the cloud and instead use the local sync option. I recently added three devices to my account. The first two installed and synced seamlessly, however, on the third device I was not recognized as a registered user and asked for another payment. Assuming that there is a limit on how many devices can run under a single account, how do I deregister and older device? And if that is not my problem, do you have any other suggestions?

Thanks for contacting us. Our records show that your email is licensed for local WiFi sync. There is no activation limit as long as you enter the same email, so please check that you are logging in with the correct email.

A typo could make all the difference!

It seems you may be trying to install the wrong old 6.2 PC/Mac Desktop app.
In that case, please install latest 7.2.x Desktop app instead, and you should be fine.

Please tell me if that helps, or not.
