What do I need to do to get my Android phone to synch with my "desktop only" Splashshopper program?

making sure to mention exact OS used on computer, version of SplashShopper Desktop app, Android phone brand and model. And then we can assist you properly.

That said, if you run latest 3.x Mac Desktop app (3.1 on PC, 3.2 on Mac), it can sync with Android app just fine – we do not have Desktop app Sync/No Sync separation any more.
When you sync a new device, a new user name gets created in the Desktop app.
So, you will need to export the lists from OLD Desktop app user name, to separate vSH files – one per list – please note you must be in All view for each list.
Then you switch to the NEW user name in Desktop app, and import the vSH files, one by one.
Then sync again to get the FULL data (lists) back to new Android app.
