Backup file with no password

Mac E Mar 14, 2015 08:09PM PDT

Is it possible to make a backup file to a USB storage device without password protecting it? This would be particularly useful at home where loss of the physical device is of minimal concern and provide the peace of mind on not losing the password.

Yes, you can export a vID file and leave the password fields blank. Please note that the data will not be encrypted in any way.
