SplashID 8 on Mac: Password unmasked during copy?

Marc Mar 02, 2015 12:16AM PST

Hi,

Switched recently to v8 on Mac. One thing I really dislike is that when you now want to copy a password, the password itself is unmasked. In v7 this was not the case.

Is there an option to change this behavior?

Best regards,

Marc

Hi,

I second this concern. The desktop version of v8 on Mac should would like the iOS version and allow passwords to be copied without unmasking them. The current v8 Mac behavior is a security risk.

Thanks,
Bryan

Thanks! We are investigating how best to implement a copy without unmasking feature in version 8.
