Fatal issue after upgrading to SplashID Pro ver 8

Jared Feb 28, 2015 09:18AM PST

I just upgraded from the previous version to SplashID 8, latest update, on Windows 7/32, latest update. My data is not loaded automatically any more, I need to manually import the last backup created by the previous version. Upon exiting, this data is not saved, also any modifications / additions are not saved, and when I re-start the program I have to import the backup all over again. This is rather annoying. What do I need to do?

Thanks for contacting us. Did you use a custom database location in version 7?

If so, you just need to go find the backup file for version 7 and import it. The default location is:

Documents\SplashData\SplashID\Backup\

Though you may have customized that path as well.
