I upgraded to version 8 on my Mac (Mavericks - 10.9.5). I am now on SplashID 18.104.22.1683 on the Mac. Now I suddenly have a bunch of old records in addition to the current ones. Basically, I updated a bunch of records about a month ago and now I see the new ones and the old versions both. It's automatically updated my iPhone, but I put my iPad in airplane mode to check it and keep it from being updated.
Anyway, I want to restore an earlier backup. Your instructions on your website say this:
Login to any SplashID 8 client app - iOS, Android, Mac, or Windows - and select the SplashID Backup tab on the side menu.
To restore a backup, select the backup you would like to restore, based on the date and number of records it contains, then click Restore.
But that doesn't do anything. When I select SplashID Backup on the left side menu, it doesn't change anything on the screen. How do I restore the last backup from before I upgraded to version *?
Thanks for contacting us. Is it not working in the Mac app, the iOS app, the web app, or all of the above?
I think because this is a public question, it’s not coming directly to you via email. I"ll email you directly.
