SplashMoney not working on iPad mini after upgrade to IOS 8

Since upgrading to IOS 8 on my iPad mini, SplashMoney does not respond at all.
I can see the list of accounts with balances but cannot do anything with them.
I raised this as an issue 24 hours ago with Customer Support, but have only received a standard "thank you for your request we are working on it" auto-reply.

Thanks for contacting us. We’re investigating the issues with SplashMoney on iOS 8, and we’ll let you know when we have more to share. In the interim, we have decided to remove it from sale.

At long last, SplashMoney 5.0.1 has been released:

- new app icon
- updated look and feel
- updated category icons
- support for iOS 8
- support fo iPhone 5 and 6 screens
- stability and bug fixes
