I was pleased to see the upgrade to v3.2 which mean I can now use the 'More...' menu; I also note your post yesterday describing the problem crashing. Mine does not crash; however I discovered that changes in the desktop prog did not sync to my iPhone. Then I discovered that every time I sync another 'User' is created on the desktop, and the active one seems to change each time. I now have 17 different users and have no idea which one to use. Would be grateful for your input.
Thanks for contacting us. This is a known issue – it started when iOS 7 stopped allowing apps to obtain the UDID for the device. Now it generates some random UDID, which is confusing the SplashShopper desktop.
We’re investigating a fix, and we’ll post an update here when ready.
Sorry for the delay. We have been struggling with this issue and so far have been unable to reproduce it or gain any clues as to why some upgrading users are getting this crash.
We are tackling the issue of sync with the SplashShopper desktop this week, so that we can put together a solution for the whole product as soon as possible. Stay tuned.
Yes, there will be a SplashShopper update very soon. Stay tuned.
Just waiting for Apple to approve the release. I’ll notify you.
Thanks for your patience. At long last, SplashShopper 4 is out for iOS. Due to the upgrade issues some people were having, we released this as a new app on the store so it won’t overwrite your old version.
You can get it on the App Store here:
We have set the price to FREE until 10/23 so that you can get this upgrade at no charge. After that it will be $1.99.
This version also fixes the problem of adding multiple users to the SplashShopper desktop user menu on sync. This version will add only one version and continue to sync with that user going forward.
