Galaxy S5 compatibility

Helen Jun 04, 2014 03:17PM PDT

I am unable to find any edit, quicklist or preference menus or options on my Galaxy S5. These wee available when I had the software on my previous android smartphone. Am I not aware of something in order to access these options? The app is useless to me without the ability to customize.

Thanks for contacting us. You should be able to find these under Menu > More. Though I should note that I have not tested SplashShopper on the Galaxy S5.

That would help if I could get to the menu at all. I do not see any menu that has the sync or anything like that.

Depending on your Android OS version, the Menu button could be a physical button outside the edge of the screen, or a soft button in the top right or bottom right. It looks like 3 vertical dots on my Android 4.4 device.

Tap that, then tap More.

Here's the answer. Press "and hold" the task switcher button (formerly the Menu Button) and it switches to the older style menu button. That's all there is to it!

I have a new Galaxy Note 4 and had a similar problem: no menu to do any editing, synchronizations, etc. Use the "assistant menu" - that little floating box that floats around the screen. The use the "more Options" box (with the 3 dots) to access menu options.

Thank you, Richard Slone!

I was ready to switch to ToMarketPro as I had no menu, no ability to sync, and I am trying to figure out how to send my grocery list to my new phone, an LG V10, from my Galaxy S3. If you have any pointers on this, please advise!

Have just upgraded to the Samsung S7. This unit also does not have a menu button. Unfortunately, pressing and holding the Task Switcher doesn't work with the S7. The S7 uses this for enabling split screen. So I have no way of accessing the menus and SplashShopper is now useless to me. An upgrade is needed with a soft menu button.

Hello, Gray!
No, no upgrade or anything is necessary. Please note there is a way still. To invoke menus, please long press (hold) the Return/Back button.
Please tell me if that works, or not.

Please tell if you need anything else, or have any other questions or comments.
