So I finally updated the SplashMoney version and it seemed to work well on my iPod, but now the time has come to synch with my desktop version and although the process seems to proceed smoothly, the sync no longer happens! I get a confirmation notice that the synch was successful, but the desktop amounts haven't changed. Tried twice, no results. I always have it with Handheld overwrite desktop.
Did you test also against the desktop version ? Why is this happening?
I'm using iPod now updated to v. 8.2 and syncing with the desktop version on my Mac Air-- Lion OS

Thanks for contacting us. I think what is happening is that the iPhone is creating a new user in the SplashMoney Desktop. So it may appear that the desktop data is being overwritten, but I suspect it is still there under the older username.
To do this, switch to the old user in the SplashMoney Desktop, and export each and every account to a QIF file:
File menu > Export > QIF > All transactions
Repeat for each account.
Switch to the new user in the user menu.
Import each QIF file.
Now sync again.
