I am using the following versions of SplashID Safe on the specified devices:
SplashID Safe Version 126.96.36.1993 on an iMac running OS X Yosemite Version 10.10.2
SplashID Safe Version 8.0.6 on an iPhone 5S running IOS 8.2
SplashID Safe Version 8.0.6 on an iPad Air running IOS 8.2
1. I added a new entry on my iPad a week ago. 138 total entries. Many with custom icons I have collected.
2. Both my iMac and my iPhone are only showing 137 total entries. They do not have the entry I added on my iPad a week ago.
3. All three devices are set for Cloud Synch.
4. Not only are my iMac and iPhone missing the new entry from my iPad, but all of my custom icons are screwed-up across all three platforms. For instance, the Apple icon I had attached to my Apple iTunes account is now attached to my Macy's account. My Macy's account has the icon I had attached to my Washington Post account. My Washington Post account has the icon I had attached to my Quicken account. The list of screw-ups goes on and on. The screw-ups have been synched across all devices.
What gives? This is extremely/EXTREMELY frustrating!
Thanks for contacting us. When you added that record on the iPad, was the iPad offline? We’re trying to trace back the steps on this missing record issue.
As for the screwed up icons, when did they go bad? Did you just recently switch to cloud sync, or was it working fine until you added a third device, etc?
Can you test adding a new record on the iPhone or iPad now and see if it will sync?
What if you edit the record that did not previously sync?
One workaround that seems to be working while we investigate is to create the missing record on the desktop app, then delete the iOS app(s) and reinstall, login again, and that should clear it up.
As a test, when you now add a new record on the iOS app, does it sync to all other devices?
