Key Safe

David Benjamin Mar 05, 2015 09:00AM PST

I have SplashId Safe on my Mac. I want to transfer all the stored data to my Windows 8 laptop. I have Splash ID Key Safe but have not set it up yet but understand I could use it to trasnfer data from the Mac to the Windows laptop.

How do I do that?

Thanks for contacting us. The Key Safe is not really the best way to do that. The best way is to use our cloud sync solution, which is included with a SplashID Pro license.

If you don’t want to do cloud sync, then export a vID from one computer, and import that on the SplashID Desktop of the other computer.

Mac > File menu > Export > Backup

Windows > App menu > Export

But really, this is one of the reasons we developed cloud sync for SplashID.
