I filled this out once and then tried one of your suggested articles, which was no help, but there was no way to get back to my original question. Which I spent a lot of time putting together! You need to change something so this does not happen for me or other people again, as it is very upsetting.
To repeat myself:
I have used SplashID for several years on several iPhones and several computers, but because the sync and backup process was too complicated for me, I started using just the data base on my iPhone (several iPhones ago). I recently had a problem with my iPhone 6 and needed some passwords that I could not get to. I understand there is now an easier (automatic) way for my SplashID data to be synced and backed up across my iPhone, MacBook Pro, and iPad.

my SplashId App on my iPhone is ver. 8.0.6 Build 830
I need some simple instructions for me to install and set up what is needed to sync and backup across all three devices, or someone to step my through the process.
Thanks for contacting us. You can switch to Cloud sync, in Settings > Sync Settings / Account status & sync method, and once you do that on one device, it will sync the data to the cloud. And when you login on another device, it will sync 2-ways with the cloud automatically.
