In (Mac desktop) version 8, when I click "add record", the new record always defaults to a category and type that I don't like. How do I change the default category and type for new records? (The web version behaves differently, but does not seem to have a default setting either.)
The ios version 8, as well as desktop version 7, seem to default to "personal" category and "web login" type, but I don't know why.

That issue with losing the type assignment on save was not reproduced by QA at first, but now we can reproduce it and we’ll be fixing it in the next build.
The defaulting to Web Logins type is not a bug, however, that is by design as this is the most commonly used type.
