Mac firewall allowance

If you are having trouble synchronizing SplashID Safe or getting it to activate in the first place ("Please check network settings and try again"), you may need to add SplashID to your firewall allowances. To do this:

1. Open your System Preferences
2. Click on Security & Privacy
3. Click on the Firewall tab
4. Click the lock icon (bottom left)
5. Enter your system password
6. Click Firewall Options
7. Click the plus button below the list
8. Select SplashID Safe from the list of apps
9. Click Ok and close System Preferences
10. Now try SplashID Safe
