SplashID Safe 8.x - force a sync from PC Desktop app to Web

Last Updated: Oct 03, 2018 07:25AM PDT
Here's one way to force the local Windows PC Desktop app (8.1.x version) data to sync up to the Cloud:
1. Login to SplashID Safe PC Desktop app (latest 8.1.x version). Export all your current Desktop data to vID file/folder to backup, just in case - Export menus are in main/Application menu - top left.
2. Click Settings in the left-hand menu of PC Desktop app, then click Sync Settings
3. Change it to Local WiFi sync
4. Click SplashID Safe tab in left pane to go to the main view (record list)
5. Go back into Settings > Sync Settings again
6. Change it back to SplashID Cloud Services
7. Click OK to exit the sync Options screen or click SplashID Safe tab, then please wait for any sync to finish and upload your data to Web app
8. Login to the Web app using your PC's web browser and you should see your data:

If the above does not work, and/or you need help with issues with your SplashID Safe apps that are not covered above or have extra questions, please contact our tech support team HERE or via one of the email addresses listed HERE and we will be happy to assist.
